Fractura nasal
Atención especializada para narices rotas o lesionadas

Nasal Fractura
El hueso nasal es el hueso que se rompe con más frecuencia en el cuerpo humano. Si ha sufrido una lesión y sospecha que tiene la nariz rota, es importante que consulte a un otorrinolaringólogo en el plazo de una semana.
Common signs of a nasal fracture include:
- Nosebleed
- Swelling on the inside and outside of the nose
- Bruising under the eyes
- Difficulty breathing through the nose
If your nose has not been displaced, there may be no needed treatment beyond restful care. If your nose has been fractured badly enough to be repositioned, surgery may be recommended. Dr. Leeman can reset the nose to correct the displacement and clear nasal obstruction. The outpatient procedure can be performed under local anesthesia.
If more than two weeks pass after the injury, you may need to wait a few months before repair of the nasal fracture to allow adequate healing and reduce swelling. At this point, a rhinoplasty can not only straighten the displaced nose but reshape the nose as desired.
