Juvéderm

Juvéderm is a long-lasting hyaluronic acid filler used to smooth away facial wrinkles and folds caused by aging, sunlight, and other factors. Juvéderm smooths smile lines, frown lines, lip lines, and other signs of aging skin that appear on your face over time. Juvéderm can also be used to smooth and fill facial acne scars or create plumper, fuller lips.

How does the Juvéderm treatment work?

Dr. Leeman will inject the Juvéderm gel into the skin to erase wrinkle lines and folds that appear on the face. The Juvéderm treatment is an in-office procedure that usually takes about 15 minutes. There are few side effects or need for downtime after treatment – just return to your usual activities with a refreshed, smoother facial appearance.

Are there any side effects?

The most common side effects are redness at the injection site, minor swelling, bruising, or tenderness. More serious side effects are extremely rare, as hyaluronic acid is naturally produced in the body and the synthetic version in Juvéderm is biocompatible.
